Gladdened!

After lunch, whilst Mira was busy trying on a sandal, an incredibly nice handbag caught my attention. It saw me loving it instantly, its design uncluttered and, very classy. and of course, I was on the verge of purchasing it when for some reason, Mira thought in the reverse (after agreeing with me 100% that the bag's a catch!)

Mira : takyah la beli, pikir dulu. balik rumah, tenang-tenang dulu. if nak, datang la balik.
Me: aiya, ni je i beli. pasni takde dah ak beli-beli. kumpul duit nak kawen dah.
Mira : simpan la duit tu, nak kawen. nanti je la beli.

All concerted effort to talk me out of buying it huh? Vainly, Mira succumbed to my incorruptibility. Reason being, she wanted to buy me that bag for my long call gift. how sweet! Well dear, for a seemingly hebat girl when it comes to splurging surprises on people, you did fairly bad. Your expression was a dead giveaway! :) Thank you for the lovely gift, though you insisted on holding on to the bag until my call day, too bad, I snatched it away from your car already! Dengan tak malunya.
